Our mission emphasis this month is Love, Inc. of Southern Chautauqua County.  Inc's mission is to help churches meet the needs of their community and share the love of Christ.  Partnerships with individuals and churches have greatly impacted lives and demonstrated Christian love and outreach to many in our community.

One of the major areas of service to others in need is delivering furniture, and converting a house or an apartment into a home at the same time.  In one situation, Thomas' apartment was transformed into a home with the delivery of a bed, a kitchen table, and chairs, along with other items.  The volunteers prayed with Thomas and provided him with a Bible.  His prayer request was for a "better future," and one volunteer prayed for wisdom for him in his decision-making.  

Susan Justham, Executive Director of Love, Inc., has been instrumental in reaching out and coordinating the efforts of volunteers in area churches, including Fluvanna Community Church, Zion Covenant Church, Church on the Rock, Busti Church of God, Christian Missionary Alliance, Levant Wesleyan, Kiantone Congregational, Praise Fellowship, and Conduit Ministries.  We are thankful for Pastor Evan and all of the church leadership who have served as faithful volunteers in the important ministry to share the love of Christ with others in need.  Further information about this ministry can be obtained online at www.loveincscc.org.
