BIRTH - KINDERGARTEN
We understand that some families are best served with a place to take their young children during the morning service. A nursery is provided for infants and their parents each Sunday morning. As the Lord continues to grow our church family we desire to provide a fully staffed nursery. But for the time being, we are happy to provide a live stream, available to watch on the TV in the nursery.
ELEMENTARY - HIGH SCHOOL
Sunday School classes provide a great opportunity for children to learn about God and how to serve Him with the gifts He has given them.
Currently, each elementary, middle school and high school class are making their way through the “Gospel Project”, a three year journey through the entire Bible, tracing Jesus Christ from Genesis to Revelation. Each lesson is tracking with the adult Sunday school classes who are learning the same content in their own age-specific ways. This allows families to discuss what they are learning each week and grow together.
We believe that children were created to worship the Lord and serve Him at home and in the local church. So, we encourage our kids to use their gifts of service in many different ministries. Some of the opportunities available include music, tech, ushering, service projects and special events. Our adults are encouraged to reach out to the youth and disciple them in their service.
Throughout the year, opportunities arise for service, fellowship and fun! We’ve enjoyed events like “build a snow man Sunday” or getting together at Peak ’N Peak for snow tubing! The winter youth retreat at a local christian camp is always a blast! In the summer, we like to use our talents in serving our community through VBS or special outreach events at the local park. Getting together at each other’s homes is also a fun and encouraging time!
Here at FCC you will hear this phrase often said, “The children and youth of our church are not just the future of the church, they are the church!” We hope your family will join us soon and grow along with us!
